Yep, Tank Killer perk does affect energy weapons in Fallout 76. It wasn't the case at first, but after some updates, Bethesda made it so this perk can help your energy rifles too. So, if you're packing laser or plasma rifles, the Tank Killer perk can indeed help you punch through that enemy armor more effectively!

Nope, doesn't make sense to me. Tank Killer should only work on ballistic weapons because, you know, physics.

Absolutely! I've been using Tank Killer with my plasma rifle, and the difference is night and day. Muties and robots don't stand a chance now with that armor penetration. Highly recommend for any energy weapon users out there!
