Toughness doesn't regenerate by itself after damage, but damage does get wiped clean at the end of each turn. So, if your creature survives the turn, it's back to its full toughness next round!

Nope, toughness itself doesn't 'regenerate' in Magic The Gathering. Instead, think of a creature's toughness as its maximum health. If it takes damage, that damage sticks around until the end of the turn. However, if a creature has 'regenerate' as an ability and you activate it, the creature is removed from combat (if it was in combat), all damage is removed from it, and it doesn't die that turn from damage.

Actually, no, toughness doesn't regenerate. Creatures heal up at the cleanup step of each turn, but that's not regeneration. True regeneration is a specific ability you gotta pay for to keep your creatures from dying from damage.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
