Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold are separate subscriptions. Game Pass gives you a collection of games to play, but Gold is needed for online multiplayer.

Nope, Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold are like peanut butter and jelly鈥攂oth tasty but totally different! Game Pass gets you access to a library of games, while Live Gold is all about online multiplayer and free monthly games.

Nah, Game Pass is for games. Gold is for multiplayer. You can have both if you're a hardcore gamer!
