Basically, yes. From the get-go, MTG was designed with two main phases to give players maximum flexibility and strategic depth. It lets you play mind games with your opponent, bluffing during the first main phase or holding back resources until after combat in the second. It's all about the strategy!

Yep, Magic The Gathering has always featured two main phases in its gameplay structure. The first one comes right after your untap and upkeep steps, and it's known as the precombat main phase. Here, you can cast sorcery-speed spells, summon creatures, and activate abilities before heading into combat. After the dust settles from the battle phase, you enter the second main phase, or postcombat main phase, where you get another chance to play lands, cast more spells, and set up for your next turn. It's a classic part of the game that has been there since the very beginning!

Nah, I don't think it's that big of a deal. You just play your cards and hope for the best, right?

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
