How are MTG foil cards printed?
DisbowelingFeel路7 months agoThey use unicorn magic, obviously. Just kidding, but seriously, it's all about adding a shiny layer before the usual printing process. Makes them look super cool.

Foil cards? Overrated. They just slap a shiny layer on them to make you think they're cooler than regular cards.
MTG foil cards have a special layer that makes them shiny and holographic. This layer is applied during the printing process, where a metallic foil is stamped onto the card, giving it that distinctive shimmer. After that, the regular printing process adds the card's artwork and text on top!
