In Terraria, rooms need to be at least 60 total tiles in size but no larger than 750 tiles. So, you're looking at a minimum of something like a 6x10 room. It's not just about room for activities; remember, your NPCs need that space to be happy and not feel cramped!

Just make them big enough to fit a bed, a table, and some space to jump around. NPCs aren't picky, but giving them more space than a closet makes you look less like a villain.

60 tiles minimum. Any smaller and it's basically a prison cell.

Honestly, bigger is better. Don't skimp on your NPC's living quarters unless you want your Terraria world to feel like a medieval tenement. Plus, it gives you more room for decoration!
