Starting with the basics, a house in Terraria must be at least 60 total tiles in size but no more than 750 tiles to be considered suitable housing. This means your interior space should be at least 5 blocks high and 10 blocks wide to make the cut. Don't forget to include a door, table, chair, and a light source to seal the deal!

6x10 blocks. Period. Anything less and you're living in a closet, anything more, and you're just showing off.

Real talk? It just gotta be big enough not to cramp your style. Think cozy but functional. Make room for your crafting stations and a bed to set your spawn point, but don't go building a mansion if you're just starting out. Keep it simple!
