Evolving a Pokemon card is actually pretty simple! You start with a Basic Pokemon on the field. Then, if you have a card in your hand that's the next stage of that Pokemon's evolution (like evolving a Charmander into a Charmeleon), you can play that card on top of the Basic one during your turn. Remember, you can't evolve a Pokemon on the first turn it's played or the same turn it evolves from another card.

Actually, I think evolving Pokemon cards is overrated. Why bother when basic ones can still win matches?

Just slap the evolved version on top of the basic one when it's your turn, but not on the first turn that little guy's out there fighting.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
