Just close the tab. Works for me every time, LOL.
Easy peasy! Just click the downward-pointing arrow on the top right of the Facebook page, and you'll see 'Log Out' at the bottom of the menu. Click it, and you're free!
Trust me, I do this a lot! On your browser, click the tiny downward arrow in the top right corner. On mobile, hit the three lines on the bottom right and scroll to 'Log Out.' Done and done!
