To figure out the rarity of Pokemon cards, just take a flip and check out the bottom right corner of the card. You'll see a symbol there - circle means common, diamond is uncommon, and star signifies it's rare. If you see a star H or three stars, congrats, you've got yourself an ultra-rare or a secret rare card. And if that's not cool enough, keep an eye out for cards with shiny letters or different colored backgrounds, those are special cards with their own unique rarity!

Honestly, sometimes it feels like you need to be a detective to figure this out. But it's all about the symbols, my friend. Got a card with a little black star? That's your golden ticket. Rare cards and above all have that telltale sign. And don't even get me started on the thrill of finding one with a star H or three stars. That's the good stuff.

Just look at the shiny bits, bro. More bling equals rarer card. Easy.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
