You can't directly connect a PS5 controller to a PS4. However, you can use a PC with Remote Play as a workaround.

Nah, can't do it directly. Just stick to using a PS4 controller for your PS4.

Been there, tried it! Unfortunately, the PS5 controller isn't natively compatible with the PS4. You'd need to use a PC with Remote Play if you really want to connect the two.
