Honestly, we're still far from the tech in Sword Art Online. Full-dive VR is just fantasy for now. Maybe in a few decades?
As someone who's been following VR trends, I can tell you we're making progress! But no one's making a game where dying IRL is a feature. Safety first, folks!
We're not there and thank goodness for that. I like my virtual adventures without the risk of actual death.
