In Modern? Not that common unless you're in a very aggressive meta. Most decks aim for resilience and versatility, not just speed.

Actually, if you're playing a highly optimized deck in Modern, you should be aiming to win or at least be in a winning position by turn 5. Modern's a fast format, and waiting longer than that can often mean you're too late.

Turn 5 wins in the Modern format of MTG can vary quite a bit depending on the deck you're running. Aggressive decks, like Burn or Storm, can consistently aim for that turn 5 win, especially if they're unopposed or have a particularly good draw. On the flip side, more control or midrange decks might not even be trying to win by turn 5, focusing instead on stabilizing the board and setting up for a later game victory. So, it's quite common in some circles, and almost unheard of in others!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
