Honestly, I think they just threw a dart at a board of classic horror and gothic tropes. But hey, it worked!

Goth vibes and classic horror all the way! Innistrad is basically Halloween Town for MTG. Creepy, cool, and a tad dramatic.

Innistrad's names and themes pull heavily from classic gothic horror and European folklore. Think werewolves, vampires, ghosts, and all things that go bump in the night. The creative team at Wizards of the Coast did an amazing job of immersing players in a world that feels both familiar and fantastically eerie. They likely drew inspiration from various sources, including literature, film, and real-world European history and mythology, to craft a setting that's a dark and twisted mirror of our own world, filled with menacing creatures and haunting landscapes.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
