Yep, heat will do that. Gave my Crocs a sunbath once, and they turned into Croc-mittens.

Your crocs shrunk because they were exposed to heat. Croslite™ material doesn't play well with high temperatures. Keep them out of the car on hot days!

Shrinkage happens when you leave them in direct sunlight or a hot car. Croslite™ material shrinks with heat. It happened to me, too.
