Just fly to their island or have them come to yours! It's the quickest way to add someone to your friend list. Orville at the airport is your go-to guy for all things travel.

Adding friends in Animal Crossing is pretty easy and opens up a whole new level of fun! First, make sure both you and your friend have a Nintendo Online subscription. Then, one of you needs to open your airport gates so the other can visit. When at the airport, talk to Orville and choose 'I want visitors' if you're hosting, or 'I want to fly' if you're visiting. After the visit, they'll appear in your friends list on your Nook Phone, and you can send them mail or invite them again anytime!

Honestly, just dropping by each other's islands does the trick. It's more about hanging out than the technical side of things.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
