How do I assign workers in Fallout 4?
Assigning workers in Fallout 4 is pretty straightforward! Just go into workshop mode by pressing and holding the 'Change View' button. Then, walk up to the settler you want to assign. You'll see an option to 'Command' - hit that, and then point them towards the resource or station you want them to work on. Once you've got it highlighted, you should see an option to 'Assign'. Hit that, and voila, they're on the job!

Honestly, just wing it. Half the fun is seeing your settlers aimlessly wander until they finally figure out you've given them a job to do. It's like watching a Roomba bump into a wall and then finally find its way.
Don't bother assigning workers! Let 'em fend for themselves. Adds a bit more of a challenge, if you ask me. Survival of the fittest in the wasteland, right?
Just a heads up, sometimes settlers can be a bit buggy and won't go to their assigned task right away. Give them some time or try moving them to a different task and then back again. Fallout 4 isn't exactly known for its flawless AI.
