Giovanni ain't so tough when you come prepared! Try leading with a strong Fighting-type like Machamp to counter his Persian. For his second Pokémon, which is usually one of three options (Kangaskhan, Garchomp, or Nidoking), bring along a Ground or Water-type for coverage. Finally, save your best Electric or Ice-type to zap or freeze his Shadow Lugia. Good luck!

Honestly, all you need is a good team with Rock, Ground, and Ice-types. Just power up and dodge those charged attacks. Crush it!

If you want to beat Giovanni, use a strong Machamp to take out Persian, something like Swampert to mop up the middle, and an electric-type like Raikou for Shadow Lugia. Easy peasy!

Used a combo of Lucario, Kyogre, and Mamoswine last time. Knocked him out first try! So satisfying!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
