Go to the Special Careers tab and select the Actor option when you're older. Be sure to keep your looks and health up to increase your chances!
Honestly, it's all about high looks and persistence. Keep auditioning and don't forget to improve your acting skills regularly.
Just keep re-rolling characters until you get one with high looks. Then, apply for any acting-related job and work your way up from there.
