Been there, done that. Go to their profile, click the three dots in the top right, and select 'Block'. No notifications for them, and peace for you!
Blocking someone on Facebook is like becoming a ninja. They won't be able to see your profile or posts, and they'll never get notified.
Just block 'em! They won't get notified, so it's like a stealth move!
