Catching a shark in Animal Crossing is all about timing and patience! Look for a large fish shadow with a fin sticking out of the water. These usually appear in the ocean from June to September in the Northern Hemisphere and from December to March in the Southern Hemisphere. Make sure you've got your fishing rod handy, then cast your line ahead of the shark's shadow. Wait for the shark to bite; you'll see the bobber dive underwater. Press A immediately to reel it in! Sharks can be pretty quick, so it's all about that perfect timing.
Don't waste your time! Focus on other fish unless you're really into the thrill of the hunt. Sharks are cool, but not worth the hype.
Honestly? It's mostly luck. And lots of patience. Sharks are rare, and even if you're at the right place at the right time, you need the Animal Crossing gods on your side.
