It's super easy! On your PS4 or PS5, go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Profile > Online ID. Enter your new ID and you'll be all set! Note: the first change is free, but after that, Sony charges a small fee.

I changed mine last week. Just press the PS button, scroll to Profile, and choose 'Edit Profile'. From there, you'll see the option to change your Online ID.
