It's a piece of cake! Head to [PlayStation鈥檚 official account management page](https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com) and look for 'Profile' under 'Account Settings.' From there, you can update your Online ID. Just remember, the first change is free, but Sony charges for any additional changes.
Simply log in to your PSN account on the official PlayStation website, navigate to your Profile, and select 'Edit' next to your Online ID. Follow the instructions and you're good to go!
Changing your PSN name is overrated. Just stick with what you have.
I just went through this last week! Go into your PS4 or PS5 settings, find Account Management, then Account Information, and finally Profile. Select Online ID, and follow the prompts to change it. It worked like a charm for me.
