I did this last week! Just head over to the 'Delete Your Account' page on Instagram鈥檚 website, not the app, to permanently delete it. Simple as that!
If you just want a break, you can temporarily disable your account. Go to 'Edit Profile' and select the 'Temporarily Disable My Account' option!
