You can block the follower. Go to their profile, click the three dots, and select 'Block'. Simple as that!
Unfollowing or blocking works best in my experience. Keeps my feed clean and peaceful!
Honestly, I just block them. It's quick and they can't follow you again without an invite. Win-win!
