To get rid of a Sim, you need to send them to the city! Use the relocation option in the Sim Tracker by tapping the 'X' button.

You can delete a Sim in The Sims FreePlay by having them move out. Just open the Sim Tracker, tap on the whistle icon next to the Sim you want to delete, then tap on the red 'X' to remove them from your town.
