Super easy: Go to settings, find 'Your Facebook Information', select 'Deactivation and Deletion', and hit 'Permanently Delete Account'.
I deleted my account last year. Went to settings, chose 'Your Facebook Information', then 'Deactivation and Deletion'. Choose 'Delete' and goodbye Facebook!
