Friending someone on Animal Crossing is super chill! First, you gotta make sure both you and your pal have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Then, one of you needs to open your island's gate at the airport and invite the other. Choose 'Online Play' when talking to Orville, and then 'Invite via Dodo Code.' Share that code with your friend, and boom, they can fly over to your island! After you've visited each other's islands, you can add each other as Best Friends through the NookPhone, which lets you do even more fun stuff together.

Simple. Open your gate, give them the Dodo Code, they visit, and you're friends. Easy peasy.

Honestly, friending is overrated. Just enjoy the game solo, catch some bugs, and chill.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
