The best way to get ability chunks is by scrubbing gear. Just head over to Murch in Inkopolis Square and clean those slots for some sweet chunks!

Personally, I find Salmon Run super efficient. Just play through and you'll end up with lots of ability chunks from the rewards. Plus, you get to splat some Salmonids!
