You can also use the trade feature if your friend has a Premium membership. Send items with robux as part of the trade.
I usually buy game passes from my friends' games to give them robux. Works like a charm every time!
Just use the group method. Simple and effective.
Another way is to ask your friend to create a game pass and buy it from them. Roblox takes a 30% cut though!
