You need to have 2FA enabled on your Epic Games account. Then, check the Compete tab in Fortnite for available tournaments and register.

First, check the in-game Compete tab for upcoming tournaments. Then, just click on the tournament and follow the registration process!

In the Compete tab, find a tournament you're eligible for, then join it directly from there. Simple as that!
