To spot a 1st Edition Pokémon card, look for a small, round, black 'Edition 1' symbol on the left side, just below the Pokémon artwork. It'll stand out because it's unlike any other symbol on the card!

Honestly, it's all about that little stamp. If it's not there, it's just another card to play with, not to brag about.

1st editions are the holy grail! Check for the '1' symbol near the picture. No symbol, no party. I remember finding my first 1st Edition Charizard like it was yesterday. The rush is real!

1st Ed. stamps or go home. That tiny emblem below the image tells you everything. If it's missing, you've got a later edition. Plain and simple.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
