When the PS4 controller is charging, the light bar will pulse orange. Once it's fully charged, the light bar will turn off. Easy peasy!

From my experience, you can also check the battery level by pressing and holding the PS button. It'll show you how much charge is left.

Just keep an eye on the light bar. It'll stop glowing when your controller is fully juiced up!
