Nope, you gotta use the launcher. It's how the game does its checks and keeps everything smooth for your gaming escapade. Skipping it could mean missing out on essential updates or server connections.

If you're aiming to bypass the launcher, a straightforward way isn't officially supported due to Fallout 76 requiring an internet connection and being tied closely with its launcher for updates and server authentication. However, some players create shortcuts directly to the game's executable file ('Fallout76.exe') within the game's installation folder. This might work, but remember, you're kinda going off the grid, and it might not update your game automatically.

I tried launching without the launcher once, just made a shortcut to the 'Fallout76.exe' and it did start up. But, got a bunch of errors and couldn't connect to any servers. 10/10 would not recommend unless you love seeing error messages.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
