How do I move my villager's house in Animal Crossing?
AgeingJetty路8 months agoHot take: Just let the villager's house stay where it is. Moving houses is too expensive and kinda unnecessary unless you're super into town planning. Use those Bells for something else!

Actually moved my fav villager's house next to mine and it was totally worth the Bells. Made my island feel more personalized and cozy. Just make sure you've got the spot all picked out before paying because once you've chosen, you can't change it until the next day!
To move your villager's house in Animal Crossing, you first need to progress far enough in the game to unlock the Resident Services building. Once it's upgraded from a tent to a building, talk to Tom Nook and choose the 'Let's talk infrastructure' option. From there, select 'Layout changes', then 'An island home'. You'll get to choose which villager's house to move and will need to pay a fee of 50,000 Bells. After paying, you'll be given a moving kit to place where you want the house to go. Remember, the move won鈥檛 happen until the next day!
