Head over to the Arena or Battle 2P modes, and you can invite your friends to a match! You'll need to have them added as friends first.

Tetris Friends is defunct. Try Puyo Puyo Tetris or Tetris 99 instead. They're both great for multiplayer Tetris fun!

You and your friends need to be online at the same time. Then, create a room and send them an invite through the 'Add Friend' option. Easy peasy!
