Unfortunately, Words with Friends is no longer available directly on Messenger. But you can still download it from the App Store or Google Play, and then invite your friends to play!
Pro tip: Download Words with Friends on your phone, then add your friends through your contacts or Facebook to start a game!
They removed it from Messenger a while back. Your best bet is to grab the app from your app store and play from there. Easier to manage games too!
