Open your photo in an editing app. Crop it to a square and resize to 180 x 180 pixels. Done!
I usually use Adobe Photoshop, but any basic image editor will do the trick. Crop it to a square and resize it to 170 x 170 pixels!
Facebook resizes for you, so maybe let them handle it.
