Starting over in Animal Crossing is pretty simple but bittersweet. You have to erase your current game from your Nintendo Switch system settings. Go to System Settings, scroll down to Data Management, then go to Delete Save Data. Find Animal Crossing and confirm you want to delete it. Voila, you can now restart your game from scratch. Just remember, this wipes everything clean, so say goodbye to your old village.

Quick and a bit drastic, but if you wanna start fresh, you gotta delete your save data directly from the Switch's settings. It's like turning over a new leaf, but with a digital eraser.

Honestly, I just did this last month because I wanted a new island layout. It's kinda sad to see your old island go, but starting fresh can be super refreshing. Just make sure it's what you really want because there's no going back once you delete your save data!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
