Just deactivate it! Head to Settings & Privacy, then Settings, Your Facebook Information, and select Deactivation. You'll be back before you know it!
You can deactivate your account by going to Settings -> Your Facebook Information -> Deactivation and Deletion. Choose 'Deactivate', and you're good to go.
