How Do I Temporarily Disable Facebook?
Just go to Settings & Privacy, then Settings, then click 'Your Facebook Information'. There you can select 'Deactivation and Deletion' and choose to deactivate your account temporarily! Easy peasy!

Deactivate your account from the 'Your Facebook Information' section in your settings. Quick and simple. Done this myself and it works like a charm.
All you gotta do is go to your Account Settings, find 'Your Facebook Information', and then click 'Deactivation and Deletion'. Choose deactivate and follow the steps. Boom, you're off the grid!
Settings > Your Facebook Info > Deactivation. Simple enough?
