To trade in Pokémon GO, you and your friend need to be at least Level 10 and within 100 meters of each other. Open your Friends List, select the friend you want to trade with, and then tap 'Trade'. Pick the Pokémon you want to trade, then confirm the trade!

You both need to be at least Level 10 and near each other. Go to your friend’s profile, hit 'Trade', choose the Pokémon, and confirm. Easy peasy!
