How do morph creatures work with Birthing Pod in MTG?

So, morph creatures and Birthing Pod kinda have this cool interaction but it's a bit niche. When you wanna use Birthing Pod to sacrifice a morph creature, remember that the creature's CMC (Converted Mana Cost) is considered to be 0 while it's face down. This means you can only fetch a 1 CMC creature from your deck, not super powerful but can be a neat trick in the right deck.

Honestly, it's not that great. Better combos out there than trying to make morph creatures work with Birthing Pod. Just saying.

Bruh, just remember, a morphed creature is basically a 0 CMC on the field. So, if you're using Birthing Pod, you're looking at finding a 1-drop creature to replace your mystical face-down friend. It's all about that mana cost.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
