In Warframe, mastery levels (or Mastery Rank) represent your overall progress and experience in the game. You gain Mastery Points by leveling up Warframes, weapons, companions, and completing certain missions. Once you have enough points, you can take a Mastery Rank test to advance to the next level.

Think of Mastery Rank as your Warframe report card. The more you play and level your gear, the higher your rank.

Mastery levels are basically your Tenno street cred. Earn points by leveling up stuff and take tests to rank up.
