Tokens are just stand-ins for creatures, and Jar of Eyeballs is pretty much a way to turn your creatures' deaths into a library deep dive session. Kill your creatures, get a better hand. Simple!

Token creatures in MTG are not actual cards but are used to represent creatures on the battlefield. They're often created by other cards' abilities or effects. For example, a spell might say 'Create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token.' You can use anything to represent these tokens on the battlefield鈥攃oins, dice, or official token cards. Jar of Eyeballs, on the other hand, is an artifact card that lets you put an eyeball counter on it whenever a creature you control dies. Then, you can tap it and pay 3, remove all eyeball counters, and look at the top X cards of your library, where X is the number of eyeball counters removed this way. You can then put one of those cards into your hand. It's a great way to sift through your deck for the cards you need, using the unfortunate demise of your creatures to your advantage!

Honestly, Jar of Eyeballs is too slow and situational. There are better card draw or tutoring options out there.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
