Catching a tarantula in Animal Crossing can be a bit tricky but totally doable! First, you gotta find one, which usually means nighttime hunting since they appear from 7 PM to 4 AM. Once you spot a tarantula, slow your roll and approach it slowly by holding the A button to walk stealthily with your net. The moment it raises its legs in defense, stop moving! Wait for it to calm down, then sneak a bit closer. When you're in range, release the A button to swing your net and scoop that spooky spider up!

Honestly, it's all about the patience game. Hold A, creep up, and wait for the perfect moment. Too much hassle for me, I stick to fishing.

Just run at it with your net swinging! Worst case, you faint and wake up in your virtual bed. Best case, you catch it on the first try!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
