Easy peasy! Just craft yourself a Radiation Suit as soon as possible. You'll find the blueprint in the Lifepod 5's fabricator. Once you have the suit on, radiation won't be a problem anymore!

You can avoid the radiation zones altogether once you have a Cyclops or Prawn Suit鈥攋ust stay inside your vehicle and the radiation won't affect you.
