How Do You Disable Your Instagram?
To temporarily disable your Instagram, go to a web browser, log in, click your profile icon, then 'Edit Profile'. At the bottom, you'll find an option to 'Temporarily disable my account'.

I disabled mine last summer, just went to a browser and found it under 'Edit Profile'. It was refreshing!
Honestly, just delete the app and live your life.
You can only disable Instagram from a browser, not the app. Just log in, head to 'Edit Profile', and choose 'Temporarily disable my account'. Easy peasy!
