You can't download Fortnite on the PS3. The game is only available on PS4, PS5, Xbox, PC, Switch, and mobile.

Straight up, Fortnite never came out for PS3. You need a PS4 or newer for that.

Unfortunately, Fortnite isn't available for the PS3. Time for an upgrade to PS4 or PS5 to join the battle royale fun!

I tried too, but no luck! Fortnite is just not supported on the PS3. Your best bet is to upgrade to a newer console.
