How Do You Fix an Xbox Controller?
UnifyingSlum路6 months agoSometimes simply resetting the controller by holding down the sync button and the Xbox button for 10 seconds can fix things. If not, consider taking it apart (if you're comfortable) and checking for loose connections. A can of compressed air works great for clearing out dust too!

First, check the batteries or recharge the controller if it's wireless. If the problem persists, try reconnecting it to your Xbox or updating the firmware through the Xbox Accessories app. For sticky buttons, a cleaning with isopropyl alcohol usually does wonders.
Get new batteries, or if the controller is wired, try a different cable. Worked for me!
Honestly, if it's really broken, just buy a new one. Not worth the hassle.
